Corino Marine Services, LLC was founded by Cort Corino in 2017.
Cort started his marine career when he joined the US Coast Guard in December 2001 at the age of 18. After attending boot camp at Cape May, NJ in February 2002 he served proudly in the Coast Guard, attending Machinery Technician "A" School and ultimately achieving the rank of Machinery Technician 1st Class in October 2006. Cort served aboard the following Coast Guard Cutters: USCGC Bluebell, USCGC Sledge, USCGC Midgett, and USCGC fir.
Cort was Honorably Discharged in November 2010 after almost 9 years and over 150,000 miles at sea.
Since 2010, Cort has been performing repairs and service on recreational boats of all sizes, power and sail. He achieved Master Technician status from the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) in 2015. Cort became an Adjunct Technical Instructor for the ABYC in 2016 teaching Marine Diesel Engines, Marine Gasoline Engines, and Marine Systems Courses.
Cort currently lives in Chicago, IL with his wife, Michelle. He is the service manager for a local marine service company and enjoys answering the random phone call for help on vintage water craft.
